Locking Mold Plate for Krones-Style Mold Frames
In blow-molding production, the mold frame relies on the locking plate to keep both halves aligned through constant opening and closing. Anyone who has worked with PET packaging equipment knows how much influence this small part has on bottle seams and final shaping. Our locking mold plate is engineered to match the structure of Krones-style mold frames, following the dimensions commonly used in their PET systems.
For customers who operate older machines or non-standard configurations, we can build the plate according to a drawing or sample. Many factories come to us when they need a replacement part that is no longer available from the original supplier.
Material & Craftsmanship
We use high-chromium stainless steel, mainly because it performs well in warm and humid environments and resists wear during continuous cycles. After machining, the contact surfaces receive a fine polish to reduce drag when the mold closes. This helps maintain a smooth motion and protects the mold frame from unnecessary abrasion.
All components are processed on CNC machines, and before they leave our workshop, each plate goes through a dimensional check and surface-finish evaluation. The inspection process is the same one we use for our PET mold components, so the standard is quite strict.
